SAPCC – Motion.
This week’s theme for SAPCC was Motion. Earlier in the week I went for a walk around my neighborhood trying to sneak up on some small birds. I was foiled by a loud neighbor, who will remain nameless, who asked me three times what I was doing, by yelling it from about 50 feet away. Not sneaking up on birds I guess. Cut to me chasing after some geese in the park yelling ‘Who’s a pretty chicken?!”

Check out Michael Brooks shot here.
Conni Freestone’s shot here.
Smack’s shot here.
Renee’s shot here.
And the official start of our newest member, Elizabeth, here.
Next week’s theme is Play. Due 4/1.
Also, the monthly post starts next week too, so be ready! (as I scramble to be ready myself)

you were running after him and yet got a real good clear shot. You got talent dude! I love his wingspan and the way you captured it, very creative.
Hahahahaha. “Who’s a pretty chicken?” You never fail to entertain me. And I applaud your framing and focus while being on the run.
hahaha! i wish somebody elses shot had been of you running after the bird. awesome shot. i can feel the terror in that bird. haha!
The geese near my neck of the woods, own the neighborhood. If you came by with your “who’s a pretty chicken?” line??
Forget about it…we’d have a photo of you running for your life taken by the goose. Our wild turkeys drink from the same arrogant stream as well.
You do make me laugh, though.

Magnificent! when I was 8 I lived in Mentor, OH. Our backyard touched a pond and I used to chase those geese all over. Until one chased me back, neck fat and furry, screaming and beating me with his wings. that’ll teach me. I love this!
Who’s a pretty chicken is hilarious! I often criticize others for baby talking to animals but I talk to my cats & dogs like they are my models. “Aw, that’s a good look. Yes! Keep looking in the light. You look fabulous.” No, I guess I don’t do that. Next time they don’t look though, I will tell them they are pretty chickens
Thanks guys!
For some reason I tend to call all larger birds chickens…I’m sure its not funny at all but it makes me laugh to think I’m messing with their lil chicken heads.
I once called a chicken a duck & my dad never let me live it down.
