SAPCC – Obstructed.
This week’s theme for SAPCC was Obstructed. I thought it was time for another self portrait, so I unpacked the tripod and headed outside to get some funny looks from strangers. To prepare for my shot I ran to the store to pick up a dozen balloons for a whopping .50 cents a pop! Crazy cheap, right!?! So, this is what I did with them.

Check out Michael Brooks shot here.
Conni Freestone’s shot here.
Renee’s shot here.
Next week’s theme is Traffic. Due 6/17.

Very nice…I was thinking of doing something similar but with furniture in my house. I applaud your consistent use of props. Nice color/exposure.

I love the shot. Your self portraits arealways awesome & I have not forgotten that we need to set a date for fun. I love the colors but I beg to differ onthe price. I think 50 cents each is not a great price when you could have gotten mylar ones at the dollar store. 3 for a dollar seems like a better price
i keep thinking youre going to fly away with all those balloons like in the cartoons, then I realized, it’s a cartoon for a reason! You know me, I love colors. Nice job!
Pixar is calling! “Hello, russman? We need a goofball with a flash.” Kids of all ages will love you.
Thanks Guys!!
@Michael, I likes my props. Thanks for the props about my props.
@Conni, You better not forget about our date! And 3 for a dollar IS a badass deal but the silver balloons wouldn’t have been the same
@Renee, Thanks! I forgot to get one of those weight things that go on the bottom so you don’t loose all the balloons so I had a vice grip on those ribbons lol.
@Pat, I would work for Pixar in a heartbeat! I could watch ‘Finding Nemo’ everyday.
The colors are definitely better. Agreed. I like Pat’s comment. This would be a good ad for “Up”.
lurve this
Yes! This is an instant classic. I may have to re-enter the SAPCC now…
