Becky & Mike – The New York City Engagement Session!

Meet Becky & Mike! For their Engagement Session we decided to spend the day in New York City. First things first, we met up at their favorite neighborhood bar in Jersey City, The Star Bar. Nothing wrong with a beer to bring down any walls before an Engagement Session After the Star Bar, we headed over to Exchange Place which has a fantastic view of the NYC Sky Line and then onto the Path, which took us over to the World Trade Center. While exploring the west side we came across The High Line which was an abandoned elevated freight line that was converted into a public park in 2009. This space is beautiful and I can’t wait to shoot here again! My absolute favorite shot of the day was when we hopped into cab on our way to shoot in Time Square. Becky & Mike were snuggled in the back of the cab and enjoying the ride through the city and well…just freaking loving each other.

Happy Mother’s Day – Mom & Art Get Married!

As a Happy Mother’s Day surprise I wanted to do a blog post on my Mom’s wedding this past fall! It was the weekend of Hurricane Sandy in Wilmington, NC and thankfully we were lucky enough to just get heavy rain because this wedding was happening rain or shine. My mother and Art lived just 4 doors down from each other and I couldn’t ask for a better man to marry my mom. He is a southern gentleman and he’s good to her and that is all I can as for.

Shaina – Indian Bridal Session.

Meet Shaina! For this Indian Bridal Session we had two different Indian Sarees to shoot in and so we decided to change up the location for each. For the more traditinal blue Saree, we met up in Princeton, NJ and explored their beautiful campus. For the trendy Pink Saree we went the beach in Long Branch, NJ and got some amazing images of Shaina on the rocks with the sea crashing behind her. Two beautiful days, two beautiful dresses & one beautiful girl.
