Ellen & Mark – The Philadelphia Wedding.

Meet Ellen & Mark! Their beautiful Wedding was held all over Penn’s Campus. We started off the day at The Inn at Penn, where I was lucky to witness the Chinese Tea Ceremony. This is when the couple is officially introduced to the family and where the couple serves tea to each family member to show respect and appreciation. The couple is then given ‘Luck’ in the form of a gift from the family member. After that amazingness, we headed over to the outside Ceremony in front of the Fisher Fine Arts Library. I actually talked the security guard into letting us into the the Library for a few shots, so a big thanks to you ladies! Right after they said ‘I Do’, Ellen & Mark hopped on a bike cab for a ride through Philly for portraits in Rittenhouse Square. Hearing the symphony of car horns and calls of congratulations makes me love this city that much more! On the way back to the reception at the Hall of Flags on Penns Campus we caught one of the best views of the city skyline on South Street Bridge.
Check it out!

Lindsay & Adam – The Manayunk Engagement Session.

Meet Lindsay & Adam! I met them over at Honey’s Sit ‘n Eat in Northern Liberties to start off the day. We hung out around the area for a little while…maybe climbed a rock mountain or two and right before the sun went down, we headed across town to Manayunk for some Sunset/night portraits. Congratulations you two! I can’t wait to shoot your wedding!!

Ellen & Mark – The Philadelphia Wedding Teaser.

Here is a quick teaser from Ellen & Mark’s Wedding yesterday in West Philadelphia on The University of Pennsylvania campus! Right after they said ‘I Do’ we rode off in bike cabs to explore the city. On the way back to the reception, we stopped on the South Street Bridge to grab a shot with this breathtaking view. More to come.

Break the rules – Go Pink!

Here’s a quick teaser from Kate & Oliver’s Bartram’s Garden Wedding in West Philadelphia. Because you don’t always have to wear white…

Diana & Kenny – The West Philadelphia Wedding.

Meet Diana & Kenny! If you looked up laid back in the dictionary there would be a picture of these two, probably riding bikes. They are west Philly through and through. Within five minutes of meeting them I knew I wanted to shoot their wedding and of course be their friend. The ceremony and reception were both held at the Restaurant School right off of the Penn Campus. The couple also had two friends DJ the reception and it was amazing! Check out my favorites from the day.

Haley & Aubrey – The Wedding.

Meet Haley & Aubrey. The wedding was held at the Pump House Bed & Breakfast in Bloomsburg, PA which is this quaint little B&B in the middle of the woods. Right next to the ceremony flowed a beautiful creek and all throughout the grounds ran multiple cats that would come right up to you for some love. All in all it was a really cool place to say I Do!

Sarah & Jerry – The Wedding.

Meet Sarah & Jerry! My hilariously sarcastic, golf loving accountants! They were married at St. Mary Church in Conshohocken and held an beautiful reception at Radnor Valley Country Club. We lucked out with a beautiful day and I lucked out with a really fun wedding party. After they were announced at the reception you couldn’t keep everyone off the dance floor, I’ve never seen a wedding so ready to get the party started! Check out some of my favorites from the day.

Sara & Steve – The Wedding.

Meet Sara & Steve. They were married in the backyard of Sara’s parent’s house in Leesport, PA. In front of 80ish of their closest friends and family members and their adorable golden retriever, they tied the knot. Love these guys and I seriously want another one of those cupcakes! Check out some of my favorites from the day.

Elizabeth & Andrew – The Hurricane Wedding.

Meet Elizabeth & Andrew! This wedding goes to show you that you don’t need a sunny day to make some beautiful memories. This was the day Hurricane Irene hit the area and we started the day off in Cherry Hill, NJ at Elizabeth’s childhood home. When I got there, all the bridesmaids were busy getting pretty and my beautiful bride was in the best of moods. Yes, a hurricane was coming but she was getting married to the man she loves in a matter of hours! It might as well have been 85 and sunny in her eyes. After the ceremony we traveled over to Haddonfield to Tavistock Country Club for the reception. The dancing went on all night long and no one even noticed the crazy weather outside…that is until I asked the couple to go out into it with me 🙂
