Ellen & Mark – The Philadelphia Wedding.

Meet Ellen & Mark! Their beautiful Wedding was held all over Penn’s Campus. We started off the day at The Inn at Penn, where I was lucky to witness the Chinese Tea Ceremony. This is when the couple is officially introduced to the family and where the couple serves tea to each family member to show respect and appreciation. The couple is then given ‘Luck’ in the form of a gift from the family member. After that amazingness, we headed over to the outside Ceremony in front of the Fisher Fine Arts Library. I actually talked the security guard into letting us into the the Library for a few shots, so a big thanks to you ladies! Right after they said ‘I Do’, Ellen & Mark hopped on a bike cab for a ride through Philly for portraits in Rittenhouse Square. Hearing the symphony of car horns and calls of congratulations makes me love this city that much more! On the way back to the reception at the Hall of Flags on Penns Campus we caught one of the best views of the city skyline on South Street Bridge.

Lora – Portrait Session.

Here are some of my favorites from the recent Portrait Session with the lovely Lora. It was a beautiful day in Philadelphia as we walked around Northern Liberties searching for that perfect light. I love this area and I think it’s going to make a great background for the night shoot we’re planning soon. Check them out!

Lauren & Brett – The Engagement.

Meet Lauren & Brett. This awesome couple came to me after shooting Samantha & Kyle’s awesome Wedding. I feel like the ‘click’ was almost instant with these two. If it wasn’t then it sure would have been when we met up for their engagement shoot in Center City Philadelphia. I met the couple at Love park to start the day and the first thing Lauren said to me was ‘Would it be wrong if we got a drink first?’. No, no that would never be wrong. In fact it couldn’t have been more right! It totally loosened them up and when we got out there in that HOT/Humid July heat, most of their nerves were left at the bar. 🙂
Here are some of my favorites from the day.

Engagement at Tiffany’s.

Meet Stephanie and John! For their engagement session, they definitely had a plan on where they wanted to shoot, using all the spots in Philadelphia where they’ve made their memories over the years. Yes they are that cute. I wanted to sweeten the pot a little myself though. When we met, she showed off her rock that he bought her at Tiffany & Co. I luckily have a few friends in high places at the Philadelphia chapter and worked it out so we could shoot in the store…Specifically inside the Engagement Rings Case 🙂 (Thank you to T&Co!)
