You first met Jamie & Jason this past September when I shot their Engagement Session all around Philadelphia. Well now it’s time to show off this hilarious couple dressed to the nines. We started of the day at Jamie’s grandma’s house for the getting ready shots. Jamie’s grandma is absolutely adorable by the way and her house totally reminds me of my Gran’s house but with an awesome painting of Jesus playing soccer (which I want).
They were married in St Martin of Tours Parish in Philadelphia, PA and partied it up a few miles down the road at a local venue. Check out some of my favorite moments from the day.
My new website is finished thanks to Brian Thomas and his amazing brain. He built my last site from scratch and when I asked him to tackle a new site using flash, he worked up this magic. Might I mention that he learned flash in about 2 weeks! Yeah…wicked smart. 🙂
Anyway I Absolutely Love it! It’s exactly what I wanted, so check it out here and Love it too.
Meet Emily & Kevin…Again. You first met them on their wedding post here and after that beautiful day, we decided to meet up for a ‘Day after the wedding’ session. We hung out on a perdy Sunday afternoon at the Water Works Restaurant and Lounge right on the Schuylkill River. The amazing architecture couldn’t have made for better backdrop for the shoot, as if laughin it up with these two for a couple hours could go wrong. Here are some of my favorites from the day.
Meet Kelly & Lou. Even though we didn’t actually meet in person for almost a year, I feel like we’ve known each other for years. She is pretty much awesome, shares my OCD issues and has great taste in all things funny, movie/tv-wise. They were married in Wilkes-Barre, PA at St. Nicholas Church, which by the way had no rules about me running around to get the pictures I wanted. Thanks church. The reception was held at The Woodlands Inn and Resort and if anyone ever plans on having a wedding in or around Wilkes-Barre then you need to check this place out. Right next to the resort there is the Laurel Run Stream that weaves through these large river rocks and under a winding bridge or two. Exactly, Picture perfect. Also the Bridal suite was the type of room that make you want to hang that do not disturb sign on the door, just sayin.
Here are some of my many favorites from the day.
Meet Joycelyn & Seth. They are my shy couple, so I’m going to keep this short and sweet. They were married at Saint Pius X Catholic Church in Broomall, PA, which has some beautiful stained glass…just sayin. And the reception was held at the Glen Mills Golf Course in, yes you guessed it, Glen Mills, PA. The coordinator was pretty great and golf carted us out to this section of the golf course that was sporting a pretty large fountain. Thankfully we had some perfect weather to take advantage of the spot and hopefully we didn’t tick off too many golfers waited to play through 🙂
So here are some of my favorite shots from the day.
Meet Emily & Kevin. They were married at the outstanding Knowlton Mansion in Philadelphia, PA. This place had everything you would want in a venue. Horse stables, a bunch of amazing rooms, each classy and unique (If I had had more time to drag them around the place they would never have gotten to their party) and beautifully landscaped grounds which is where the ceremony took place.
They met in the study a few moments before the wedding to get that first look at each other. Kevin was mixed with excitement and more nerves than he knew what to do with and he lit up even more when he turned around to see Emily in her beautiful dress. After the ceremony and portraits were through it was time to get to the party and unwind with friends and family. Easily done with this crowd. Lots of dancing and crazyness to keep my attention and make me laugh. The DJ was amazing! Totally my kind of music with a large variety of The Rolling Stones to get down to. I’m sure I was shakin it while I was shootin.
