Rachel & Tom – The Engagement Session.
Meet Rachel & Tom! I’ll be their wedding photographer come April of next year and I’m really excited because they are a fun couple. There is even talk of Kilts which would be Amazing! Do it Tom…do it. We met up in Old City Philadelphia to start the Engagement Session and the exploring took us over to Penn’s Landing on the waterfront where we indulged in some funnel cake! Alyson & Charlie – The Long Beach Island Wedding.
Meet Alyson & Charlie! They were married in Long Beach Island on the beautiful balcony of a family home and we couldn’t have asked for a more beautiful day. I met the couple through one of my 2009 weddings, Samantha & Kyle, and let me tell you it was an instant connection. It was like we had been friends for years and it really translated so well in the images. I’ll say it again and again, having a photographer that you connect with and trust is the most important thing when choosing someone to take part in your day and thankfully I was the guy for them! After the intimate ceremony at Charlie’s parent’s ocean-front house, we ran down to the beach to kick off our shoes and shoot some formals. My favorite was when they asked for an image of the wedding party’s reaction to being attacked by Godzilla! (How could I not love these people!?!)
From there we crossed over to the harbor side of the island where the wedding party boarded two boats and sailed a few miles down the island to the Reception spot. When they arrived, they were greeted by all their friends and family on the backyard dock of a fantastic beach house donated for the night by close friends of the family. Everything from the food, which was prepared by Charlie’s Mother & Brother, to the energetic DJ’s who put on one hell of a show, made this night unforgettable. Another favorite moment, other than Charlie ripping his pants on the dance floor, was when Alyson’s father smoked the very same type of cigar that he smoked on the day she was born. It was on the roof deck of the enormous house and as we looked down at the festivities you could just see how proud he was to be her father.

Jess & Jesse – The Wedding.
Meet Jess & Jesse. My amazing DC couple! They were married at the Pearl S. Buck Estate in Perkasie, PA and we were lucky enough to get just the right amount of sun on this overcast day for a sweet, outside summer wedding. Two things I loved…The look on Jess’ Parent’s faces during the first dance and Jesse’s famous version of The Robot.

Here is a quick teaser from Jess & Jesse’s Wedding before they head off to beautiful Italy. This shot was at the very end of the night. We stepped away from the party tent and into the trees for this sweet sweet moment.
Megan & Brendan – The Wedding.
Meet Megan & Brendan! I love a couple who is into taking pictures and with this couple (specifically Megan) we could do this daily. I don’t believe she has ever met a camera she didn’t like. 🙂 They were married at Saint Bridget Church in Philadelphia, PA. This was a full catholic mass and even at the alter she was ready for her closeup! After our amazing 3 hours of picture time around the city we headed to the reception which was held at the City Avenue Hilton Hotel.

SAPCC – Traffic.
This past week’s theme was Traffic. I’m a little late because I’ve been editing my latest wedding, that post to follow soon 🙂
So this past weekend my buddy Michael flew in to hang out and go for some photo walkabouts. We braved the nasty weather, which has been a constant for the last 3 weeks, and luckily got a few hours of sun the last day he was here. This shot was from that day.
